It is until now to my amazement that I am sharing with you a revolutionary way of perking up your future events, a discovery I came upon when #SocialMediaWeekend #fwdPH took place at the New Glorietta Activity Center last June 29!
Let me introduce to you PRNT. A new cool way to get your event photos printed! You can kiss photo booths and overnight print goodbye now. PRNT is a newly established business that will allow INSTAGRAM users to print their photos directly to the PRINTSTAGRAM (*that’s what I call it) machine. You just need a keyword or in this case, a hashtag included in your photo caption for it to be fetched by the application and printed out in a matter of seconds!
Don’t go looking for it in malls, it’s a simple printer inside an Instagram designed casing.
The concept of this technology is very simple, but it sure is revolutionary in many ways. You take a picture via Instagram, apply your desired filters, put the #hashtag (*keyword to be used specific to your event) on the caption, and hit the upload button! Done!
It’s the digital age and the advent of social media here in our country. If you really look into the data, you’ll be surprised on the number of active users we have connected online and how mobile each and everyone is already, armed only with their point and shoot smartphones with limitless data connectivity.
These are some of the photos I took, I didn’t know that it printed out my shots until I got curious about it coz of how active the @prntph account liked my photos with the #fwdPH hashtag in the caption. (*when the prntph account likes your photo, it only means that it has been captured by the application already and is queued for printing.)
This is their booth during our event and the guy on the picture is the owner, Ryan Yam. He is very passionate about his product and is so happy with the results. Not bad at all for their very first engagement.
I can’t contain my amazement when I found out about this so I promised Ryan a blogpost. It seriously is a game changer. The difference between PRNT and the traditional photo booth is its ability to allow attendees to get a better feel of the event by allowing them to have a more personal touch on the memories they want captured and shared.
The #IGERSNANILA group also got so hooked with this that they even printed some of the best photos they uploaded in their Instagram album. It truly is one way to amaze people! This may be the very first event catered to by PRNT, but I can already say that they definitely will have a lot more to come! 🙂
