Hey guys, sup? how have you been? 🙂 i know this is already a really really late post and I’ve been one lazy ass to update my blog over the past month, but yeah, I owe you one good post. So here, lemme share to you my 2012 yearender! I totally did not tweet about the apocalypse, but somehow expected it to happen; unfortunately, no fire rained down from the heavens that day… Haha! Anyways, to start with…
A treat to myself! The infamous roastbeef plate of Dayrit’s is my yearended food in Manila, I ate there the night before my flight to Cebu which really excited me coz I’m gonna see my cray fam again, plus, I bought this for my mom as a gift:
I know, I know… I’m such a good son. Haha! 😛
The next thing I knew I was already onboard my flight and yes, WELCOME TO MACTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT it is! Everything happened really fast coz of my excitement, it’s as if every moment is fast forwarded to the actual adventure date. Now to give you a glimpse of what we did in the Queen City of the South, allow me to show you a couple pf pics. 🙂
Oh, I met Ms. Aggy (Cherry Mobile’s Brand Alliance Manager) one of my really super best friend and mentor at the Ayala Center. It’s as if everything happened for a reason coz our trip to Bohol on the 26th was cancelled coz of the weather. We left Cebu on the 27th and before going to the port, I managed to squeeze a little time to see her there, para maiba naman! 🙂
There you go Cebu! but if you’ve read enough, my adventure dint stop there! Next stop, BOHOL! 🙂
We took a ferry ride from Cebu to Bohol, my good friend Bam fixed everything for us there. We stayed as well in their hotel and as always, it’s another pleasant experience. He never failed me! 🙂
The beauty of Bohol never failed to capture my heart. I have always been in love of that place and I will forever be. Everything there by nature is breathtaking! We were planned to go to Panglao the next day, but something really unfortunate happened that we needed to go home asap. It’s a family thing and I prefer not to make kuwento about it here, but nevertheless; it was one epic adventure we’ve all experienced already for 5 straight days!
We left Bohol smiling, but also with a heavy heart coz of the unfortunate event. We took a ferry from Tagbilaran to Dumaguete where we will take the bus going to our hometown, Bacolod City. It’s a 6hr ride and it will actually be my first time doing it. Believe it or not, Ive never explored yet our own province, Negros Occidental… I managed to take some pics as well in Dumaguete and I’m showing it to you here.
I was so drained. Literally. I never expected our trip to be so tiring! It was fun and worth it, different places and different people, but again, as all of us would always say, there is no place like home still! 🙂
BACOLOD CITY! 🙂
I poured all my time taking my cousins and brothers out. We all watched Sisterakas together on its first day of showing. I’m the eldest, so expect kids on the picture! HAHA! And of course, before I forget, let me show you as well our very own simple paradise away from the city. This is where our roots came from and where our family’s heritage is located; the beach and the fish ponds of our great great Lolo.
It was really one fun fun yearender for me. Very memorable and full of good memories. I decided to spend it all with my family, for the first time again after so many years of being so INDIFFERENTE from them. I realized how much I miss them and how much love there is really for me that I failed to see over the years of living away from them.
2012 has been a blast and the lessons Ive learned during the last months of this year really changed me. It molded me to become a better person. I learned the hard way and thinking about it just makes me smile. Sobrang no regrets ang aking 2012! 🙂
So there you go guys, that’s my yearender. Hope you could share yours too with us! feel free. 🙂 Til my next post peeps!
